Our Teaching Method
We have been developing our Japanese teaching method to satisfy English speakers’ demands based on our experience in instructing more than 800 English speakers over fifteen years. We always give attention to how busy business people can improve their Japanese speaking level faster and more confidently and offer lessons focusing on the following two aspects.
1) Grammar
We always instruct our students, while taking into account the differences between Japanese and English sentence structure. Our objective is not memorization but comprehension of grammar. All instructors are well trained to give brief English explanation of the difference between Japanese and English sentence structure.
2) Vocabulary
Input and accumulation of vocabulary words are necessary for the students to be able to speak spontaneously. Even if they understand the grammatical explanation given by their instructors, it is difficult for them to communicate without the acquisition of words.
In order to help them acquire vocabulary, we provide “word cards”and “picture cards” of verbs and adjectives for them. The students can practice vocabulary using those cards in their spare time on the train or in bed and during lunch break in only fifteen minutes.
Non-beginners
A free level check interview
It will be held for students who have studied. The coordinator will discuss with the student any particular goal or area for improvement and will propose a suitable course plan, textbook and instructor.
Special curriculums for Tests
We offer private or group courses in preparing for Japanese Language Proficiency Test and Business Japanese Test for the students.
Small-group classes with variety
In response to the student’s request, we open the class at any time.
